I saw an old vending machine in kyoto that had a vb and 64 slot too. but nintendo never released  the blank vb or 64 carts(morons). I was told there is a nintendo museum at the nintendo office in shizuoka (about 100ks from tokyo near mt fuji) that has all the nintendo games including the vb games and demos on display. They charge 2000yen admission*nearly 30bucks* and you cant take photos. What a rip off. I can buy a vb for 2000yen! I went to shizuoka but didnt go in."
