American & Japanese display plain white system box:

I once located a small delivery box of a VB Display Unit, here's how the seller described it:
"Great Nintendo 3 d virtual boy game console. This one is in very nice, clean and working condition. It was originally a store display model and comes in a plain white box. Complete with stand, power converter and controller. There is no instruction manual included but there is a Teleru Boxing cartridge. Model number is VUE-001, serial number is vn100014044."
Although in the box there was a normal Virtual Boy unit (hence the VUE-001 model#), the box was not what you'd expect, it was plain white with the text: "VUE S RA - VIRTUAL BOY™ W/O SOFTWARE - FOR INTERACTIVE DISPLAY - MADE IN JAPAN".

Funny thing... the print you see is repeated only on 3 sides... this one, one short side, and one long side. The rest are all blank. Inside, it's exactly the  same as any other box, including the flat piece of cardboard that advertises the battery offer. A strange item, indeed, see for yourself:
