VB Display System low profile counter version (Japanese only):
Released by Nintendo at the same time
as the VB, to display the Virtual Boy in shops.
Here is a translation of a
Japanese write-up -->
"Play Stand not for sale-
This is a thing attached when I buy Virtual Boy of second-hand
goods. In this, the thing which the thing to fix the stand where
Virtual Boy is weak with the screw can be done and the controller
also fixes can be done. The reason why I think this for the
exhibition of the shop is that locked metal fittings adhere so
that the cartridge of software is not extracted."
Another Japanese owner of the demo stand (which was also obtained at a second-hand store) says the following: "It is easy for Virtual Boy to play very much if this is used. If Adjustable Stand is put on the market, all might have been able to experience this easiness to play".
