[ The Virtual Boy Message Board!! ]

Here is some stuff I came up with a while back. Since there are some new people here (with passion for the VB might I add!) Basically, it was all the reasons why the VB should be brought back and additional suggestions. I should send this to Nintendo, but they probably wouldn't care. Anyway, here goes.....
I. Why Nintendo Should Revive the Virtual Boy --
-As a tribute to the inventor, Gumpei Yokoi
-Nintendo already has finished software (more on this below)
-VB was true innovation and the closest the public could get to VR
-The VB has many fans already and Nintendo let them down by KILLING the VB
-Nintendo has tried to revive every other system with a new version (top loading NES, pocket GB etc.)
II.How Reviving the Virtual Boy Can Make Nintendo Money --
-Nintendo has 3 finished games already and had to spend money to design them. Selling cartridges can help
offset this loss or even make a profit.
-If Nintendo makes a Zelda game for the Virtual Boy, the Zelda fans will all buy Virtual Boys and the VB fans
will all buy Zelda carts.
-If Nintendo fixes the gripes people had about the VB (better technology exists now making it cheaper to do
this) people may be more inclined to buy one.
-There is currently a demand for rare games, but no supply...Perhaps
Nintendo could profit from this?!?
-The price of the Virtual Boy only fell because of its problems and lack of software.
III.Things to fix --
-Make it head-mounted, the tripod is hard on the neck
-Make the AC adapter plug into the unit itself
-Try color?!?
-I am sure it can be produced cheaper now, so DON'T CHARGE $180 FOR IT!!
IV.Accessories Required --
-The Adjustable Stand
-Game Link
-Power Glove (I mean, it is supposed to be like VR, right?)
-Something like a Game Genie
-This would be cool, how 'bout a device that plays the VB games on TV
and you need 3-D glasses?
-And, of course, DECENT GAMES!!
-Zelda (all other systems have one, make it like Ocarina of Time)
-American versions of Japanese only games(this shouldn't cost Nintendo much at all!)
-Mario Kart
-Starfox (polygon, not vector)
-2-Player Versions of games like Mario's Tennis and Teleroboxer
-Duke Nukem
