There are 2 ways to make an Eyeshade Holder(that i know of)
You can make the 6 posts and the base at one time, or you can make the base and the 6 posts seperately
I Will only supply the instructions for making it with the posts seperately, after you read this, you might see how to make it at one time, but get the scans of the eyeshade holder off Ferry and IkoDa's sicknasty uber1337 site ;).
Okay, to start, save the eyeshade holder layout onto your HDD and print out the picture with Paint(no centering and as low as a margin you can get). It might say its printing out 4 pages, but you can cancel after the first page is done(paint went homoape on me).
Here is what it looks like cut out:

Compared to a real eyeshade holder, it will look like these:

On a Virtual Boy, it wil fit on nicely if it was cut right(for the two holes next to the hole for display to hang on to the vb right, just poke a hole in the middle of it and twist the scissors around)
Heres what it looks like on a vb compared to a real eyeshade holder:

Okay, now that the layout is cut out, try putting it on a vb, see how it fits.
Now off to making the 6 posts!
To start, grab a little paper to draw a post. Draw two straight lines next to each other, about half a centimeter away,(the space in between the two lines should be a little less that the hole of an eyeshade) then draw a bulb shaped line thingy on the top of the two lines(look at the following pic) to look like this:

After you make one post, make 5 more. Now to test if they work, put each one into one hole in the eyeshade. In the following pic, i used only one post to show a rough example. When u make your own though, you want to make them thicker and longer, it will be more sturdy.

Now, to mark where the posts go into the base, you will need to curve the eyeshade with posts around the base of the eyeshade holder like it would be on a vb. Actually, its easier to put the eyshade into the vb after the paper base is in the vb. Then, hold the eyeshade up and mark the posts one by one on the layout(use the solid white side) Look at the following picture for more info

After you mark all six posts, get the sturdy material that you should have prepared. Thick solid card board works okay, but some plastic should work better(only made some out of cardboard a while ago when i got my first vb without an eyeshade or holder). Now to make the actual eyeshade holder, you wil have to trace everything you just made out of paper onto the material your gonna use. Then cut it all out, and mark where the posts will be from the paper layout. Now comes the bitchy part(for me anyway), attaching the posts to the base of the eyeshade holder base. Now, how i did this was tape down the posts onto the base after i marked where the posts were supposed to be. But unfortunatly, that wont work to well(well then again i used scotch tape, not that great). Use duct tape or masking tape if your gonna use tape period. Staples will work with cardboard, so if ur using cardboard try out staples. If you have the supplies, try to use hot glue. Im assuming that would work fine with plastic and cardboard, but im not sure. After you get the posts attached, you have finished making your very own eyeshade holder! Now pat yourself on the back 3 times and say "Virtual Boy Ownz!!" ;^). To remove your new eyeshade holder, slip ur hands under the bottom curved part(above the indent for the nose) and give a gentle pull. Have fun with your new eyeshade holder, and remember VB On!!
Special Thx to Ferry and IkoDa for the space to post up my guide, and for the best vb info site on the web!!
