*Even Nintendo's own game-testers were having battery problems with this robot.

*Ouch! All that bouncing just gotta hurt, it's a bleeding job, but someone's got to do it!

*Chalvo get's an electric shock.

*Puzzling in deep space; I'm feeling the need for extra oxygen already!

*Let me guess... kill the snake, KILL THE SNAKE!

*I wonder how many points an alien grandma would be worth?

Is the existence of a prototype confirmed: YES…
... A Demo/Proto has been seen at Shoshinkai & E3.

As for Shoshinkai / Space World 1995, this was confirmed by the US Nintendo Power magazine journalists who wrote the game was on show in Japan, and I quote:

"Bound High from Japan System was one featured game that rocked."

Also George Palamara from Japan gives an eye-witness account: "I actually got to play this at the FAMICOM SPACEWORLD '95 and it was one fun game! Your character seemed to sit atop a large ball that bounced high over the play field. The object was to land on and eliminate the squares that made up the play field, and also to land on enemies that could kill you if you were otherwise too close. The 3D effect in this game was fantastic, you really felt like you were bouncing 50 or 100 ft above the play field. From there you could steer your 'ball' down over a tile or enemy. I almost cried when it seemed obvious that the VB was dead and that this game would never be released".

... Waz from Japan says: It is the surprise to the sale schedule software being more than the software which actually has been sold. Nihon System Supply was developing the software "BOUND HIGH", it's result is good. So Nintendo remade and tried to put on the market. But it couldn't. It is regretted.
