At the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 1995 in America these glasses were given out to those who visited a special section of where the Virtual Boy was displayed, in a dark room with wide-screen TV's visitor could use these special glasses to get a 3D image off of the TV screens on which "upcoming" VB games (VB Mario Land, Vertical Force...) were shown.
